Search for Family Member

 

This page allows you to search the database of 8340 individuals for members of the Argall family, together with those families with whom they have been closely related. Although simple, the search facility allows 3 ways to find family members:

  • Select the first letter of the surname you wish to find. The result will display a list of surnames which start with the letter you selected. From the surname list you can delve further to finally display family members with the selected surname.
  • Alternatively, enter the Reference No for an Individual and press the Go button to display the Individual Record.
  • Otherwise, you can also search for individuals by surname and/or Given Name. Enter the details in the Name Search fields and press the Search button. Please note that the search does work when specifying a partial Surname or Given Name, although the result may contain more names than you expect. Use partial names or surnames if you are unsure of the spelling of a Surname or Given Name.

Please note that we protect the privacy of the individuals in our database by enforcing strict rules, based on ages, to decide what information to display. Where information is withheld, according to these rules, you will see a "Data Withheld" message. This does not indicate that the data is not present. Where information is available and does not conflict with the rules it will be displayed. If no information is present you will see an "Unknown : Please Contact Us" message, so you can also contribute to this study. At times some individuals have no birth or death dates so we are unable to determine their age. In cases like this you may also see a "Data Withheld" message.
